Every year Facebook hold an International Marketing event; this particular event was hosted in Berlin with Facebook teams attending from around the world. They required a strong symbolic visual identity to work across all communication.

We created a conceptual, minimalistic and evolving identity based around a geometric grid of symbols. Interlocking pieces of a larger puzzle, each icon/symbol represents an individual culture, showing diversity, brought together to form a “global” visual. The grid can be changed to represent an immense diversity of patterns, showing exactly what it is to be both local AND global.


The visual Identity was applied to environmental graphics to dress the venue, swag, invites and onscreen presentation decks. All assets were supplied to the in-house design team and ensuring consistent art direction, on-brand collaterals and smooth communication with a global team.
